A career across studios of different scales and in different locations across the world taught Paul that good design follows the same instincts regardless of the brief, budget or building type. That conviction, that architecture should be a conduit to a richer way of living, is where Better Living starts with a BetterPAD came from. Not a marketing line. The reason the practice exists.
Paul believes the industry needs architects willing to champion and constantly push for better design - not just what is easiest to build or to get through planning, but what has the genuine potential to improve a family's everyday life.

Every BetterPAD project begins with an Appraisal. It is where we explore your brief, your home, and establish what is possible - and what it would take to fully deliver it for you. From there, we prepare a highly tailored, bespoke proposal with fixed costs to take your project through design and delivery.
