Highwood Cottage in Cranleigh transforms a modest Surrey home into a calm, light-filled family retreat, balancing rural character with contemporary craft. Careful planning, deep attention to detail and thoughtful sustainable upgrades create spaces that feel generous, grounded and quietly joyful. Responding sensitively to landscape, context and daily life, the home reflects how the family truly lives. We are incredibly proud that this project was recognised as the best house in Surrey.
