The project brief was to extend and reconfigure the ground floor, to create one large open plan space connecting front to back.
A flat roof extension features a stunning ‘up and over’ window granting uninterrupted sightlines to the garden as you enter the property.
This feature, along with an additional roof light and main opening to the garden, creates a wonderful sculptural quality and balance of natural light.
Our clients chose an amazing palette of materials, with a rich textured parquet flooring and elegant patterning in the stone worktop; the island differentiated from the rest of the kitchen, becoming a focal feature of the ground floor.
