Ideas for your home workspace

2020 has been a very unusual year, and many of us have had to try their hand at working remotely during the lockdown. Some of us are lucky (or unlucky, depending on your viewpoint!) that we are still working from home, but how do you make the most of your home workspace? Whether you're set up in a separate room, or perched on the corner of the kitchen table these tips might make life a bit more organised.

Bring the outside in

Easy to care for plants help clean the air around you and have positive effects on your mood and concentration.

Create a mini study nook

Working spaces have become less formal and more flexible and can integrate with other pieces of furniture like bookcases.

Are you sitting comfortably?

Swap the dining chair for a comfy office chair (if you can) to help your posture.

Make the most of your storage

Utilise existing storage for any new tech equipment or paperwork. This will encourage a clear uncluttered desk which will make you feel less stressed and more productive.

Check your natural light source

Make sure you have a good source of natural light throughout the day that won't strain your eyes for long stints at your computer.
