We are a group of architects passionate about the work we do, and aim to help people transform their homes into spaces that inspire and enrich everyday life. Our initial design phase is all about discovering what's possible at your property, and exploring many different ideas. Through a series of workshops we discount what isn't working, and develop the ideas you like, eventually forming them into one cohesive design proposal.

 

As the design develops, we build more and more detail into the 3D model to help you visualise the spaces and understand the quality of light. Alongside the design concepts, we analysis the costs, timelines and planning risk so that you can weigh it all up and make an informed decision about the project.

Believing in a holistic design approach from the big picture vision of a project down to all of the fine details, we offer a variety of supporting services. With interior design we try to keep a continuous theme throughout the home, whilst allowing each type of space to have its own expression; a rear extension is often more contemporary in nature, whilst a front reception room often restores the original character features.

 

A well designed private outdoor space can do so much for enriching your daily quality of life, whilst maximising the value of your property. 

Whilst there are similar principles with what type of home extensions and alternations are acceptable in planning terms, each local authority and each conservation area has its own set of criteria and standards. Our in house planning consultant undertakes thorough research at the outset of each new project, enabling us to quickly weigh up early design ideas and formulate a strategy. We are proud to have navigated over 100 complex planning applications, and have a phenomenal success record.

 

Beyond planning, many of our projects require listed building, and various other consents, which we are prepared to lead you through and collaborate with the technical specialists as required.

Architecture isn't just about coming up with great ideas, but is about bringing these ideas to life. In the pre-construction phase, we navigate all the legal consents and coordinate the professional consultants, tying all the information together into one clear design package. Once it's time to speak to the builders, we lead a tender process and set up the building contract.

 

After construction is underway, we administer the building contract, iron out final details with all the chosen suppliers, and carry out quality control of the building work.
